Silent Running was good. A bit preachy, but Sci-Fi that people invest something in tends to get that way.

Definitely the best use of midgets in boxes.

Original Blade Runner is better, but the 'director's cut' is still worthwhile if you haven't seen the original and can't get a hold of it.

Well, that's a tough one. Only 3? How about if I list my Favorites during different stages of my life.

Growing up in the 70's, my Favorites would have been what was coming on Saturday matinees or late night tv:

Earth vs The Flying Saucers
Planet of the Apes
The Day the Earth Stood Still

Since then, I'd have to say:

Star Wars (4)
The Terminator
Star Trek II

There are a heck of lot of others that I could include, but with only 3, that has to be it.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">This is a great series. Anyone who is a fan of anime should see it. It's encouraging that the medium has grown enough to support such great satire. When the series makes fun of other anime, or itself, it isn't very subtle, but then again, neither is anime.

Not as outlandish as Excel Saga, a definite must see.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Yeah, that's a good movie, but not a classic in my books. It's almost like a forerunner of what Skynet was. Maybe James Cameron watched that movie a time or two and came up with Terminator?
