So, after letting unknown posting my game description on forum, i found finally the time to look after it. He´s right, i will start this wekend and invite anybody with enough spare time to come and get their butts beaten by the drows( or beat those other buts with them).

Anyway, i do not really think, we must fix our spelling.

ELF is much strrongerr than elves, much morre sharrperr ant betterr suited.
Since the Trrow arre no whining flower elvve but some serrious herroic beings....................

....ehmmm yes, sometimes it gets me...

So, honestly! If anybody is interested, hop to it!

you know you can go back and edit those, to remove the text. Anyway, I think Fyron was joking about the ELFS / ELVES thing. I have seen it both ways in English sources, as well as ELFISH and ELVISH.

but you should probably ask a professional Elfish impersonator, if you want to get all the facts.

it's elf, elves, elven, elvish.

elfs is just silly. elves has much more dignaty.

In the end you have more to bother than correct spelling if an elfischer (thats the correct german spelling)Arrow points out of your chest.

Or: when this drow elf battlecruiser wipes you from this plane of existence you can radio as a Last insult: But you are elven and not elf!!!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO INVITE SOME MORE PLAYERS TO MY GAME AND NOT DISCUSS THE CORRECTR PRONOUNCIATION FOR SOME INVENTED SPECIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it like "dwarves/dwarfs".
IIRC the correct plural of dwarf in modern English is "dwarfs", but Tolkien used "dwarves" to make ir sound more archaic. Then the name sticked on and many other fantasy authors used the same plural.
