It will colonize in the beginning but after while it often gets into this "can't load..." mode and stop sending colony ships and transports. Take a closer look after turn ~30 in standard move game and you should see what I mean.

Oleg, it is after turn 30 that the AI increases its Pop transfers even much more then before this AI actually has Ship Construction 4 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Depending on the AI Race, it is also after Ship Construction 5 that the AI increases its Planet Colonization by one third or more http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Oleg are you saying "when playing classic movement with a standard set-up" and if we look at the se4 Score screen {f5/scores} - We will no longer see the AI increasing its Planets or Population after turn 30?

Please, just start a new game and do what I suggested http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif You will see what I mean. This bug does not kill AIC/Proportions AI completely. Some ships to to fall to this trap and transfer population succesfully. But large portion don't http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

However, if I or we; track the AI increases from the F9 {key} in-game Score screen and see that they are still in fact " increaseing in population " with increases that are in addition to the standard yearly 10 turn repro increase, and go as far as to say the AI POPULATION score totals is near, even or above my own; should this not be sufficient if they are very competitive and increase in AI competitiveness’ as the game evolves beyond the "third year" ? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

With starliner option it is very tough for Human Players to keep up with any of the AI Pop growth http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

With-out the star liner option (ON) it is about even for the Human Players with the AIC AI Pop growth http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

For a 1000 mass mod, the AI for AI Campaign handles population growth in most if not all variations of the se4 game and will out pace Human Players on average http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
