Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
You can't really compare a free download to a purchased expansion... expansions are supposed to add new hard-code features, not just changed data sets.

Huh? What do you mean? XP doesn't seem to be missing many at all features that were in 2000... does some stuff differently, but still has the features. Then it has new ones...
And besides, I got XP Pro for free from MSDNAA that my university participates in. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif [ January 09, 2004, 02:42: Message edited by: Imperator Fyron ] |
Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
worst game without a doubt MOO3
best game is little tougher I'd have to go with Medievel Total War & the Viking Invasion expansion pack just some ideas Mac |
Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
Must agree Moo3 was bloody awful! It has the very worst ship designing system I've ever seen, and as for the "intuitive interface" to look at your systems... Guess I must be very unintuitive. Total eye candy, no substance.
Medievel Total War for Best game. I'm still not sure about the expansion for it. Spent too much time on SE4G and trying to get Civ3 playable. [ January 09, 2004, 06:08: Message edited by: Narratio ] |

Best game?
Definately Mediaval Total War and the Viking expansion pack for it. Very very close second is Hidden & Dangerous II Worst game? I dunno, I dont really buy and play many computer games. Someone told me the Lord of the Rings games are bad, so may be those, but I havn't tried them so dont know |
Re: Game of the Year for 2003/Good & Bad
Definately Mediaval Total War and the Viking expansion pack are definately great. I got pretty frustrated at its lack of automation in larger games. It could be a real chore moving my massive numbers of units around...
Unfortuantely I'm still using the nine gigabyte SCSI hard drive I picked up about five years ago, so I had to can it for space. Time to buy a new hard drive... |

It is a testimony to the MM greatness and a shame on the major games developers that incrediably radical game play change can be so easily ridiculed by you ! |
