Re: OT - Favorite Music?

These days I'm listening to alot of Dream Theater, Queensryche and Dio. I've also just discovered Spocks' Beard, OSI (office of strategic influence) and Porcupine Tree.

Hey, doesn't anyone listen to any good music around here?

I listen to:
- Linkin Park
- Blink 182
- Nickelback
- 3 Days Grace
- 3 Doors Down
- Disturbed

Try 'em out.

Other than Nickleback, none of those bands are very good Reneade. Nickleback used to be ok, but has gone downhill...

Interesting group names - but what style of music?

'Progressive Metal' is the official label. Dio of course is none other than Ronnie James Dio (of Rainbow and post-Ozzy Black Sabbeth). The lyrics are quite heavy from these Groups (Dream Theater has a 13 min song all about experimentation with Stem cells and whether its right or wrong....) and the guitar work is amazing.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Fyron, in your personal opinion they are not very good. The tone of your post would indicate that you have the Last say in whether they are good or not. A simple "IMO" before stating that none of those bands are good would've done a world of good.

From what I'm listening to mostly these days, I think it's a toss up between Raffi and the Wiggles. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif
