Re: The cats of SE4G
Alarikf, a riot, great and to the point http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif I dread giving any of our cats pills even liquid medicine which we currently have to do with the one at present. She locks her jaws and its a fight to get the dropper in UGH....
As for fleas, we get a pack of liquid drops from the vet. you put a drop or two on the rear of her neck and its good against fleas for 2-3 months each application. better the flea collar and other junk. just spread the hair on the rear of her neck and drop on the drops.. easy, quick and you don't have to go to the emergency room to get yourself repaired afterwords http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif our cats names Where-R-U Abby the Hussey Boots or Booby as our granddaughter calls him just some ideas Mac [ March 28, 2004, 03:22: Message edited by: mac5732 ] |
Re: The cats of SE4G
I am using the liquid for the fleas now, but until this we have not had this problem. I was mad because I expected more from a vet, especially when I let them do surgery on my baby! That is my youngest Kaylen and the one next to her is my son Jr, what a boy, I love him to death.
Yes he is a big boy. And Tom is only 7 months old! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif [ March 28, 2004, 04:29: Message edited by: President Elect Shang ] |
Re: The cats of SE4G
WATCH THAT LIQUIED STUFF CLOSELY!!!!
Many cats have had adverse reactions to it including mine. GET IT FROM YOUR VET! And if your cat starts to ack weird TAKE IT TO THE VET! That shi- Crap is very dangerous and toxic to many cats. Even cats that have had it for a while with no reaction can develop an elurgic response to it. It is fatal if not treated and even then it is iffy. |
Re: The cats of SE4G
Since others are posting their "babies"...
Trixie...the calico we belong to: "Yeah, so I like laying on my back!" "PLastic bags are sometimes REALLY tricky!" And finally, found at a drainage gutter on a rainy day, I present Taffey. She weighed 4.5 pounds when we picked her up and took her to the vet. The best the doc could figure, she was between 6 - 9 months old. Grease, blood, and gook of unknown origin coated her long hair. $150 later, she is much happier, has NO desire to go outside, but has her own problems from her "life on the streets". She has continual ear infections that require regular treatement, walks with a limp, and it seems like her head is at a permanent tilt...as if something happened to her neck. Grown and at an age of 5 years, she has never weighed more than 9 pounds. Smallest adult cat I've ever had. But one of the biggest lovers and most friendly to all the kids. (and sometimes, like other cats, she forgets that her tongue is hanging out). "I look SOoooo kewl in the sunlight!" |
Re: The cats of SE4G
I sure wish I had a site to post pictures of our cat. I've got a rather fuzzy picture of her from when I was trying out our new camera.
For all you Cat lovers heres a cartoon I read every day. http://www.comics.com/comics/getfuzzy/index.html |
Re: The cats of SE4G
Man I am glad to hear you and your wife saved that cat Slynky. We have people dropping off cats and dogs around here all the time. Most of the time we find homes for them, but a few don't make it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif I hate people who drop off animals in the woods and think they will survive. They are city yuppies with no clue as to how the real world works.
