<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">You need very strong carbon fibres to stop it collapsing under its own weight. It may well be possible eventually but I wouldn't expect it for another 100 years at least (and thats being optimistic)

Heres something I just remembered. Who has gotten up in the morning and got dressed, then gone out. All morning you feel stuffy and hot. Its not till lunch you realise you have your pyjamas on under your clothes.

I'm guilty of that one, but they say it's not good for your health to hold it in. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

Made a spam hamburger? (I plead the fifth)

You can call me wierd, but I find nothing wrong with 'Spam Luncheon Meat' Well, actually here in Canada the one we have is called 'Kam' and I like Kam, So if Kam is the same thing as Spam then I'm guilty again.

Want to talk about things that taste bad? Have you ever tasted Caviar? YUK!!! Positively the most revolting thing I have ever tasted. They say "It's an aquired taste". Strange thing about this statment, is that if it taste bad the first time why on earth would someone try it again and again just to 'aquire' the taste? YUK! is YUK! no matter how many times you taste it.

LOL, this thread is turning into one of the wierdest in forum history. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif I love it!

Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Have you ever got so drunk after your girlfriend dumped you that you started drinking, didn't stop drinking continuously for about an hour, passed out for about 4 hours, but before you passed out, you know you were talking to her (don't remember what you said), and now she hates you more than anything else in life? Then puked your f***ing guts out for the next few hours?? I bet a few people have done that, and I'm not the only one!

For a more humourous post...I once acted the steoreotypical teetotaler for three months on a forum and then wondered why I got kicked off...for two years.

Not the most intuitive guy when it comes to social graces, am I? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Bit into a moist towelette because I thought it was a breakfast burrito.
Take your personal car to sport car drivers training.
Make a homemade rocket that explodes!
Chase a pimp down the side walk in your car cause he's beating a prostitute. Only to have the prostitute slug you for chasing her pimp.

They think the Carbon Fibers can be made strong enough in a few short years. When they get that Space Elevator running, I want to fart in it.

I should get five stars for sheer duration of stupidity.

That's a lot of carbon nanotubes to manufacture, to build the space elevator. I thought they have only created tiny amounts of carbon nanotubes in the lab so far. Probably won't happen very soon.

Yeah, I played the game "spoons" and after a while, all our hands were bleeding because a couple of the people we played with had long, sharp nails, and as we made a grab for the spoons, we got all badly scratched up.

SPOONS, huh? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Gotta be a bit of a "adventurer" to play that, I suspect. Of course, in a different way, "5-minute truth-or-dare" takes a bit of an adventurer, too http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif
