Is there any addon/mod that has the andorians? If not, are the pics of the ships and stuff just pics? Or are they 3D renders? Cuz I only know how to model, not draw lol. (I really, really stick at drawing.)

AST has then in it IIRC. I do not know if the Star Trek Mod has them in it anymore...

The Andorians are in the Star Trek Mod as a minor race.

Do you want to play tham as a major race? If so I will post them and you can install them as such.

Andorian and Vulcan Races

This is a self extracting program. Simply direct it to extract - install - in your base Space Empires IV folder. If it does not ask to over right then you may have installed it into the wrong location.

It will add the EMP files for both the Andorians and the Vulcans to the EMPIRES folder of the Star Trek Mod as well as add the two new race folders to the race folder in the Star Trek Mod.

Once install all you have to do is start a new game and choose EXISTING race, and pick Andorian.

You can of course tweak the EMP to your desire.

Look in the SE4\Star Trek Mod\Pictures\RaceNeutral\ folder to see all of the neutral races in the mod (ie: those that don't show up as a player choice, but are still in the mod as single system neutral races).

Ok, well, how do I get them so I can use them then? (Also, Just a general question. How do I defeat enimy's with sheild generators that cannot be penatrated by phased weapons? [I only have missles, and uranium cannons.])

The game chooses the neutral empires by random during game set up.

You should research energy weapons to penetrate phased shields.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Try researching Physics then Phased Energy Weapons. But my favorite is the high Energy dischared weapons in combination with Phased weapons.
