Hey guys, I posted your news at my site. Hope you don't mind, but I thought it would be great to get as many people aware of it as possible. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: A Borg Collective style completed

Updates to all AI files for 8 races (Rom, Fer, Borg, 8472, Fed, Kli, Vulc, Card) posted on my site. I find the politics and anger to be greatly improved in gameplay, but here are a few notes:

-the Borg don't advance (borderwise) as quickly as the others. Their politics prevent them from forming treaties with anyone they consider a threat, and they have to fight their way out. 8472 has the same disadvantage, yet they expand more rapidly for some reason. When I find the settings responsible I'll transfer them to the Borg!

-the Klingons are devastating to start out, but they fall behind and get whipped due to obsolete ships compared to other empires. I need to organize their research more efficiently so they remain competitive and still have lots of firepower.

-I'm still stuck with the Demo and have been getting feedback that some settings are missing. I'll add the changes but there may be more that the demo doesn't cover. If you get an error reading a file, let me know.

That sounds great. But unfurtunately I can't get to your site: warp_nine.tripod.com is invalid at least with IE5.
Could you post your files in the mod section of this forum??

If you'll tell me what happened when you tried to go to his site and had trouble, we'll try to help you diagnose your problem. I have IE 5.5 also and didn't have any trouble pulling it up. Maybe a network link between you and him was down temporarily or some other glitch... Try it again, and let us know.

That' what I got when tried to access the site with either IE5 or NS4.7:
__________________________________

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://warp_nine.tripos.com/

The following error was encountered:

Invalid URL
Some aspect of the requested URL is incorrect. Possible problems:

Missing or incorrect access protocol (should be `http://'' or similar)
Missing hostname
Illegal double-escape in the URL-Path
Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed
________

I guess the problem is with the underscore
in warp_nine name.

Okay guys and girls. After several trials I got to the site but my correct adress is now http://warpnine.tripod.com.
No blank or any other character between "warp" and "nine".
Hope that helps!
