Re: AI Minesweeping

Münchausen, that's a good idea with the PDC on Minesweepers. However, the Minesweeper is using the "Don't get hurt" strategy so it won't "sweep" the satellites.

Supply: IMHO the "no supply" for ships is ok. This takes out one micromanagement feature I never liked much. He, only effect is to run your guarding fleet back o the depot and then back again to the WP. I don't need this kind of extra work to do.
For fighters it would be nice so it is not abused by the player.

And yes, I do keep track of issues and send them in. http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif

Baron:

On every wishlist I have sent MM for the Last month or so has been a request to include in the 'Settings' file a seperate line item for each type of unit (sats, troops, fighters and mines) and facilities. This line item is the % of maintenance (similar to the one we now have for ships). As far as I am concerned he can leave these set at 0 for the default. However, Users such as ourselves can then tweak to our heart's content. On a related topic (and further down the wishlist) was a similar line item for '# organics per turn/per pop' used.

So everyone, please send your request to MM (after Jan 4) and perhaps we can see these options eventually added.
