So…the game is going gold on Oct. 10 or so, and orders are expected to be shipped Oct. 30…? Does that mean that the demo will be available sometime around Oct. 10 - 3 weeks before we're likely to have the full game in our hands? Can anyone tell me if this is roughly right?

Not that I'm going to refuse to buy the game if you dont make a demo or something. Also the demo help convice people dominions is good, because it's much harder to convince people to buy games without demos, and showing people the dominions 1 demo and then saying "...but dominions 2 should fix that..." probably doesnt convince them as much.
Plus it would be funny to see the forum go silent for a while and then have a lot of excited Posts afterwards http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif
