Re: Castles and resource-sucking : a suggestion
Forts definitely boost supply in Dom II and that boost is also present in diminishing levels in neighboring provinces.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the Supply value is added to the provincial Supply value when there is no siege occuring. When there is a siege, the troops inside the fort are forced to rely on just the fort's Supply as they can't get out to gather the provincial supplies. (P.S. Sorry for not posting a response to this sooner. I'm having some difficulties keeping up with everything right now!) |

The Dom I manual is old and there might be changes in some of the patches that didn't make it into the manual.

Re: Castles and resource-sucking : a suggestion
How does the math behind Admin->Supply work out? Is it a percentage boost to the province's original supply level equal to Admin? Or is it, as somebody mentioned earlier, a flat increase equal to 4xAdmin (i.e. 80 for an Admin 20 fort)? Does it extend into neighboring provinces, diminishing over distance? I'd like to put the hard stats into the manual, if possible.

It would be nice if all the game's formulas could make their way into the manual, along with examples: "A Nightmare with fear attacks a militia that has mistform. Here's a description of each and every roll that will be made." -Cherry |

I think that at least that is in the manual. |
