That, and some kind of "statistics" screen which shows you the shortest/longest/average times each player has taken to play their turns in the current game. Hmm and maybe some kind of synchronization with an Online database which will keep track of each registered player's "playing style" a la competitive ladders? So you could look at a searchable, sortable list on a website and tell at a glance who the slowest/fast players are? And their nation preferences, number of battles, victories/defeats and such? ... Nah, that's too far-fetched http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif [ March 11, 2004, 14:49: Message edited by: Maximillian ] |

Re: Dommunion (a program to play a notification sound at every new turn)
Thanks, Arryn!
Hmm anyone tried out the program yet? This is my first contribution to Dom2, and I'm kinda anxious to see how it's being received http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif Oh, and also the fact that bugs ALWAYS appear the second a program leaves the hands of the programmer, no matter how long/hard he tried to debug it http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif |
