Hi!

Yes it's from a series of books, or, more correctly, comics book, "Les chroniques de la lune noire" (did I spell it correctly?), originally published in french. With a web search you can probably find several screenshots of the series, this one for instance:

Has been translated in a few Languages, but not in english, as far as I know...

As for the mod... More news in 2-3 days! (it's taking a LOT of time with all these black moon dudes... orc, trolls, giants, humans and the like)

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Really? Do you by any chance have the name of the publisher? All I ever read was the translated german Version, too. And even without being a pro you can feel that it lost a lot in translation. Besides that it's an awesome "graphic novel". Some of the best graphic renditions of huge scale battles I've seen so far.

Oh, it's been translated into english. That translation is far superior to the German one I have... :/

Why can't people translate things they have experience in. Same goes to games. If Illwinter ever wants to localize Dominions, I certainly hope they turn to gamers and not to professional translators... /rant off

It was a pre-templated website so I could not really do things as I wanted, but well, it was just a quick solution to show you something. And I had some problems in viewing it with explorer, but netscape was fine. Well, let me know.

I think tomorrow I'll add a few more screenshots, and tell you something more about goal and status of this mod. Maybe I should also mention it in the sticky thread about mods...

A remark though, some of the black guards (and the lord of negation) are facing us and are not side-oriented (sorry for my bad english) as dominions units usually are.

@PrinzMegaherz Yup there was a rts title for the black moon chronicles (still got my german Version on my harddrive, actually) Fort anybody who sees the game for a few Euros, I can only encourage you to buy it. The intro alone is worth it. The game is OK (more then OK if you like the series), with most of its problems being in the handling and controls. Still, I liked it a lot for a time.
