To see Bogus, try playing with negative Luck. They are not an independent army that starts somewhere in the map, but an army that an event generates and that kills any army located in that province. AIs generally waste loads of troops while trying to conquer that "independant" province, so you generally find Bogus from HoF list shortly after he has come forth.

Most of these have some unique item that is otherwise only accessible by wishing. They can be a fun challenge to beat.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Unless scripted into a game... I've never seen an independent dragon. It would be great having more unique monsters like this show up in the independent provinces or maybe more events where unique monsters attack provinces.
