well sea provinces are a different type of tough. A good number of them have tritons and that would be bad.

So pick one that doesn't have Tritons, or just tow a small buttload of longdeads along with you. Tritons aren't so hard to take if you can delay the dogpile long enough to buff yourself, and are poison immune. A Snakering can do wonders here.
