Why no women?

Oooh, what if you could make the dice smiley randomly choose between 6 of 'em, each with a different face up?

The fruits look really good too http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Why no women? simple question and I have a simple answer. The beauty of the female face cannot be done justice with so few pixels. The 'chiseled' masculin look is much easier. then again maybe it's just my lack of skill. Believe me, I have tried to do women but none of my attempts met with success. hmmm, then again, it could be said that all the 'smilies' are female. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

BTW these are AWESOME http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif, great work. Feel free to come up with any new smilies you want, or anything else for that matter.....

(contemplates how quickly it will take David to fill up the Shrapnel Hard Drive).

Also if you have your avatar emporium files as seperate files I can add them in as the default avatars for folks to pick from. Just send them on.

Gandalf! HELP! I was not aware that all the old avatar files were deleted or otherwise lost. Gandalf, do you know where they have been stored? I have them locally, but uploading them 1 by 1 will take me 3.7 years. If all you need is the old filenames, I think Gandalf has a file I sent with all the names. I believe that he made a batch file on the old board to copy them to the 'avatar' directory. Perhaps he could be persuaded to edit the new path and run that batch file again.

Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Actually they are probably still there, I just meant adding them to the avatar list in the new software. I'll just go track them down.

That sounds prejudiced to me! Ugly women have just as much right to be represented in graemlin form as beautiful women do! If I see any more of this treatment I'll brain you with this stale loaf of bread:

Or worse, I'll drop this on you, Dorothy-style!

Muahahahahahahaha!

Katchoo, in my humble opinion there is no such thing as an 'ugly' woman. But there are many people with visual disorders that may cause them to think they are seeing 'ugly'. I don't sufer this affliction so that is why I have trouble getting a 15x15 pixel face to look in any way feminin. But I'll give it another try and see if I can treat this shortcomming of my artistic talent.

Cheers! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Ok, I tried to make some female Graemlins, and this is the results.

Cheers! Again. :P

LOL!

But watch out, next you'll be accused of ethno-centricity and required to make a bunch of racial variants.

Those are very cute-looking female faces. They should definitely be sent to Richard.

That particular visual disorder can be cured by beer. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image.../beerglass.gif
