Turn Results - The battle goes well! We WON a FIGHT! We DID NOT run AWAY! I consider chopping off less of my generals than I had previously planned. I also notice west thingy has a library and sages are possible. Excellent! - I forgot to MOVE Queeny and she is currently skulking around behind a lump of Coral. Woman, you have intense powers.. stop with the skulking and start with the head bashing! Ok, next turn. Empire Status - 4 provinces - Income 221 (T 187) Turn Orders - I decide another mammoth and some archers are in order as a reward to my lovely generals. - Research is set to Construction so I can get to 2 and make some nice clams. Comments Perhaps my luck is turning?! |

Turn Results "...Plague in Westwatch" - That's what they get for resisting me for so long! - Queeny does well and slaughters a dozen or more fish people and they run for the.. er.. hills? Either way, I'm happy! Empire Status - 5 provinces - Income 269 (T 160) Turn Orders - I order the boys back across the river into Valogda. - Queeny can't resist searching the gold of the North Sea of Kaspus to the east and so charges in there. She leaves behind a Coral Reef which is a nice discovery! Comments Things are looking up! |

Turn Results "...Research complete" - Construction 1 "...Handful of gems in Westwatch" - Seems they know how to appease me. Good! - The battle of Valogda went well and the Mammoths produce many small splatter marks on the snow. - Queeny was chucked out of Kaspus and fled without striking a blow. I mark those tritons down in my little black book for some 'special treatment' later on. Empire Status - 6 provinces - Income 315 (T 260) Turn Orders - Queeny is ordered into Heaven's Hold (it's a special site and so I want her to search it). - The Army is ordered into Shalen to the SE. - A seraph is ordered into Westwatch to set up a lab. - An arch-seraph and many more archers are ordered up. Comments I'm surprised Queeny lost the fight. She fled without even casting a spell, just had a dozen Tritons beating on her. Ouch! Well, at least she didn't die. Smart god! |

My general lives but my prophet dies. Good ridence I figure! Comments What's the deal with these damn units? I guess they aren't much good! Time to bulk up on leaders and summons while Queeny expands our borders I guess! |

Empire Status - 7 provinces - Income 342 (T 536) Turn Orders - General is to build a fort. - Queeny to jump the mountains and go sort out those Shalen people! - I order a sage and a seraph. Good one! - Research put on hold to make clam shells and owls quills. Comments Well things are going slowly, but I'm.. er.. building up strength on the inside! Yeah, yeah! I like a lot of owl quills and clam's seem required. |

Turn Results "...Temp drop in Westwatch, 5% die" - haha. Yes, I am fickle! "...Witch cursing in Selebir" - Queeny routes. Hmm. She doesn't like flying troops I guess. Big chicken! Empire Status - 7 provinces - Income 342 (T 305) Turn Orders - Maybe Queeny would feel better with an Ice Sword. I get one made while she sneaks into Westwatch to do some searching. - Another high seraph and sage are ordered. - Fort building continues. - I order Scouty back to Isle of the Hundred. I'm curious about it and maybe it will be a target for Queeny. - Research goes back to Alteration for Soul Vortex. Comments Hmmm. What to do about those troops that engage so quickly! Not sure, but it scares the bejesus out of Queeny. |

For starters, there are no fliers! - Army patrols as tax goes up. - Lab constructed at Heavens Hold. Comments Soon... soon we will.. Erm. Go to bed? Yes, it's been a long late night and I've had fun but i'm just about spamming here so it's time for a sleep! Another burst of turns tomorrow! |

What I Would Do Differently:
Having more units helps to keep squads fighting. Having only one mammoth is a bad idea. Having a mammoth and 24 units would't be very good either. Having few mammoths and 4-6 units fares much better. Especially if those few units have high morale. That means either Wingless or Temple Guards for Caelum until you find something more interesting. Vampire Queens need their boosters in most cases, so both fliers and cavalry can be a hard opponent. She is immortal though, so she can just wear cavalry down as she will be able to cast some of the more important boosters and finish some of them. |
