Yes I know I am losing income with unrest, but I have never been able to get unrest totally under control in more then say 60% of my provinces. Usually I do have a site or two generating unrest but I am throwing out those provinces of the equation. Normally (in 40% of the provinces) I have between 10-30 unrest. (no- I do not,will not blood hunt so thats not an issue)

Patrolling is worth it, even if you kill of a few pop, it will get your unrest down to zero very quickly (unless it is VERY high).
You will lose less income overall patrolling then you will by lowering taxes... of course it is not always (or even often) feasible, since you need a ncie body of troops to patrol with effectively. Often it is more exopedient to simply lower taxes for a period. |
