Yes, it's a deep subject and it's one that most every human being seeks in life. Some find it. Some never do. Some thought they had it and then decide they don't. Some missed the chance of a lifetime.

This wonderful thing called love is worth pursuing (to sound a bit corny...wink). Thing is, though it may seem to be a "Brown Mountain light" (you guys living outside of North Carolina, USA, will have to look that one up...grin), you may turn around some day and find what you are looking for.

My parents have been together 30 some years and it's easy to see the're happy together, any time they talk about it.

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif I think it's nice that children can see that their parents love each other. However, sometimes, when I'm hugging my wife in the kitchen, our daughter makes a remark. I always say, "Would you rather us argue?" It always gets a "no" answer (smile).

My wife and I have been married for 28 years, to those of you just starting...it is not easy it will take the two of you to make it work, it is normal (?) to think "What IF" as long as you do not act on it! no matter how much "In Love" the two of you are THAT WILL kill it off.

I've been married to my "first" wife for 24+ years. Read into that what you will.

Didn't know there were that many of us married guys out here. Surprising considering our "habit" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Ten years for my wife and I and it does take constant maintenance.

I faced the “what if” about three years ago, it only got as far as one kiss (I didn’t initiate the kiss she did) but at that very moment I realized that my wife was the only woman who loved me the way a person should be loved. The truth is no matter how much you love someone you will continue to look at others so don’t feel guilty. Just try to remember that one night of sex will never justify destroying years of love.

Amen, PES. I think it's wonderful your wife has stayed with you through all those political years even though you've never attained office yet http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif.

6 years for me.

Rg13.... You will know your first love when you understand what it is to truely hate that person for a while.

For you can not hate someone until you have loved them very much.

After time you release that they are the same. If your lucky and move on.

Oh the first truely broken heart. Good luck man. It really hurts. Hopefully you experience this in your early twenties not when your at middle age.

It will help you with your life long partner. As you will not be such a stubborn *** http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif and release that you love someone very much and need to show it every day.

It can be as simple as a brush of two hands. But when you are both in love the meaning is there.

it is a hard thing to have two people at the same level....

I do believe those who truely love each other know this and make it through the times when the sine waves are not over lapping but at opposites.

P.S. Find some one who has passion in something. Make sure it is not what you have a passion in. And learn that passion it is a great adventure.
