SEV, English, French AND Crown Royal? whoa, I'm all for this one, Man, I can just see the hours quickly going by, eventually, the eyesight will blur, one will become lite headed and send his fleet into a sun or two but the game will go on until the sun comes up, or I pass out, which ever comes lst.... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif

As far as price, I found my limit.

I really wanted to play Gary Grigsby's War in the Pacific. In fact, it would have been a guaranteed sale.

But at $69.99 (or $79.99 for a physical copy of the game), I'll never get to play it, because I refuse to pay that much for a game.

The most I have paid for a game was over $100 for Phantasy Star II on the Sega Genesis, this was about 14 years ago.

Sachmo, I agree $70 is alot for a game, BUT, I broke down and bourght Grigsbys War in Pacific, and I must say it is a great game. Its Huge, It has numerous scenerios and 2 massive campaign games. In all honesty, I must say the money was worth it. Check their site, it might be cheaper now.

This is the most I've paid for a wargame, however, I know of Grigsbys Rep and have played and own most of his games including Pac War and I know his games are usually very well done. In regards to this kind of money, I would only spend this much on a game that I knew something about the designer and that his games were very well done. Otherwise, I would not spend that kind of money for a game why take a chance on a game that could be a bust. Also I ck out game forums to read up on a game before I buy it, thats how I found out about SEIV. my 2 cents

When a game price is more than $49.00 dollars it can sit on the shelf until hell freezes over. I still have not bough HL2 because of the price.
