I agree. Top down images of bases for minis is the way to go.

Well, considering most of the ship images are already top down and the fact that the oblique portraits look silly when they're upside down or backwards during movement (i.e. for baseships) etc.

Its a matter of taste and estetic perspective. I like the portrait view, some people do not. So I will gladly make any top down base images for any one who asks. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
