I have the FAQ. I used it to hunt for graphics cards. The manual said the mainboard had a free AGP slot. I installed the 4x card in the four x slot. The Bios would not recognise it. I could not find updates on the net. The options were onboard AGP and PCI. (not PCI Express) So I removed the card, added the RAM, and upped the shared RAM to 64MB, using the BIOS. My options are Get a PCI card, if I can find one, or live with the situation at present. I'm looking for a good 32 or more PCI card and living with 64mb shared ram. 320MB free is plenty for my normal applications.

Mabye you need to find a jumper on the motherboard to disable the integrated gfx and enable the AGP slot?

Or look in the BIOS and disable it there. most newer boards. boards less than 3 years old have this as a BIOS feature

It doesn't have a jumper, and the Bios wouldn't recognise the card.

I turned off the sound, and the units just zip along like a terr running from Koevoet. The artillery falls like artillery. I often have to play with the sound off anyway,

did you buy the motherboard or
did it come in the computer?

at the splash screen who made the BIOS and what versions is it?
