I'm 32, work as a senior metrologist for a major medical device company and pretty much spend my breaks either reading the Boards. Been playing wargames since my dad first taught me to play Panzer Blitz when I was five.

Re: OT: How old are you ?

35, chemical engineer working as an environmental consultant (industrial air emissions), principle of my own company so I have to fight the ongoing temptation to play SEIV way too much, and (like so many of the others posting here) got my start playing the classic Avalon Hill board games. Ah, those fond memories of Panzer Blitz and Squad Leader.

I'm 20, doing 2nd year CS at university, never seem to have enough time to play SE or mod, or code games.

29, Network Management Engineer by day, Bartender by night. 10 years on Active Duty in the army, now working for a major 3-letter company (not IBM). We make automotive parts (air bags,) space vehicles (Satelites and more,) and Tactical High Energy Lasers...

Krakenup- You're not the Official "Old Fart"... My mother plays and reads here regularly at 72...

You're not an "old Fart" till you reach 60, at least that is what I have told my wife!

10 years active duty in the Army.

Now partner in an organization that is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations, and political campaigns establish and maintain a web presence. That's the offical line.

Since this is not a major election year, we are not so busy. So I get time to play. Oh, I'm 37.

I am 46, and have been playing wargames since the 60s. I got started on Avalon Hill games and was a lifetime Subscriber to S&T <sigh>. I too miss playing Panzerblitz...... On the road to SE IV, I started playing Stellar Conquest (board), moved on to Space Empires III (PC), then found SE III. I am a software test engineer in Virginia.

46 i think (my missus tells me, i'm not really into time). Used to be an aluminium boatbuilder/welder doing inshore/offshore racing monohulls and cats + hovercrafts and seacats, Now officially my wifes carer as she is disabled, so i have some time to play SE4 (in between the housework hehe). I saw this posting this morning and though about saying i was the 'old fart' but i guess there are 'older farts than me here lol.

22, and ive been a professional network geek for the Last 10 years. all I can say now, is man am i sick of this ****. a buddy of mine is in union labor, and I think im going to ask him for a job.

wargaming since the late 80s, but my gaming tastes tend to lag about 10 years behind the trends, which is probably why i catch all the starblazers, BSG, ASL references that are tossed around here.
