Re: OT: Great Music
I have always wondered how Mrs Federlines writers got away with a song called "Hit me baby, one more time". What are they advocating, abuse http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

Re: OT: Great Music
That, or it could be a reference to statutory rape (she was what, 16 at the time?).

Re: OT: Great Music
I listen mainly to electronic music these days, with various rock/alternative acts and the occassional pop song.
Current experiencing high popularity on my playlist: Chemical Brothers New Order Death Cab for Cutie The Arcade Fire Annie The Postal Service Metric Ladytron Groove Armada Goldfrapp Depeche Mode Sigur Rós Orbital Delerium |
Re: OT: Great Music
Yeah being that "hit that" is in reference to sex not abuse (unless we go to sexual abuse but we won't here).
Although to be honest she always had a squeaky irritating voice and the only reason my 14 year old "brain" (yeah let's say brain) liked her was her body heh. But as I got older alas I met real girls who had much nicer qualities (both physically and certainly otherwise) then that skank and I thank God recovered from my brief bout of britneysbodyidus Now Agulara (sp?) has a good voice but she's just as much of a skank as Spears (spears get it lol) just she admitted it from the start while miss "I'm a virgin" didn't until recently. |
Re: OT: Great Music
Well at the moment the bands on the old Winamp playlist.
Black Grape American Hi-Fi Johnny Cash Zero 7 Goldie Lookin' Chain The Killers Oasis Iggy Pop Pearl Jam The Cure Pendulum Bloc Party Rage Against The Machine If you can find any pattern in that lot best of luck to you. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif |
Re: OT: Great Music
Most of that stuff came out before I was born? lol at least I think that's the pattern I noticed as those bands are all what late 70s early 80s http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Re: OT: Great Music
Not even close, but I'll give you The Cure as late 80s. Johnny Cash had a huge career, but as I've got American IV that was 2002. Rest are all 90s or 00s.

Re: OT: Great Music
George Jones' "He stopped loving her today" - Definite heart-breaker.
Anything by Beethoven. Elvis Presley - "In the ghetto" - Must-hear. That's all for now. |
