You could no more evade my wrath than you can your own shadow!

Trek. Ugh. I vote for B5.

Oh alright then, put me down for TNG- Mainly for Patrick Stewart & Brent Spiner, who made so much of their roles.

TOS was crap, Ent was an abomination. I guess DS9 was OK in places.

"Military look and feel" of TOS? What's military about women in mini-skirts and countless romances with each and every alien by the Captain?

Seconding Dogscoff's comment on Babylon 5, I can just here Londo in the background hearing about Kwoks comment and going: "Ahhh, Trully an Enlightened Culture!" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

I enjoyed the sleekness of the vehicles in the movies - they seemed to be having more fun with the design.

After years of No Trek, I remember watching the first episode of TNG (Encounter at Far Point) thinking "this better be worth the wait and my time." I was not disappointed! Even though I had a cousin who appeared in one episode of TOS (she was the Bridge Bimbo for that episode) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif and watched it religiously, I'm sorry but TNG took it to another level! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

Star Wreck? Is it just me or do those 2 guys look like Arnold Rimmer? Especially the guy on the left with the hat...

This is because it stole a few of the good ideas from B5. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Well B5 did nick Checkov from TOS. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Whilst he was excellent, both the actor and character, I never really got over the shock. I always half expected Bester to start talking in bad Russian.

On a topic related note, I just saw DS9 'In The Pale Moonlight.' a few days ago. Damn me that is even better than I remember, possibly one of the best Trek episodes I've ever seen.

Bester has got to be one of the coolest recurring villians of any TV series. And unlike with 99% of ST villians, he actually had more than one aspect to his personality. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
