Here is a USMC AH1W firing a Maverick, so if the pic is at least partly real, I hope it did carry it in the first place! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

On another matter, Sewter, how sure are you of the ranges you quote in your list of Mav variants? I find 3km quite short even for a very young production variant, and the warp from 27 to 6 km between F/G/K/J and H versions looks like a typo mistake to me. Can you confirm that please?
I have been reviewing the various versions (quite at the same time as you apparently) while seeking info about the Longhorn, but I couldn't find accurate range figures for the different actual versions.

Any further precision welcome! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif
Thanks anyway for the info!

Hello, PlasmaKrab, I would like to thank you for your response. The information I use is from the Jane's Information Group. This information is considered reliable enough that media groups rely on it. But it does not mean that it is foolproof. It is possible that it is a typo, but I feel that they have been quite accurate in the past.

Here are two web-sites that you may find useful:
(For the Russian, there are photos of the Pete Mitchell on helicopters)

Designation Systems.net has pretty good info on both the AGM-65 and the AGM-114.

Your website suggestions are glorious, That Guy of 96. I am impressed with the pictures, particularly of the humility I felt while viewing the Nike Hercules. Thank you. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

http://www.designation-systems.net is just an awesome resource in general, and its one of my many military reference bookmarks.
