Well, would someone else consider diligently applying the wiki {redirect} function to some of the redundant articles? I did one, we already had "jarenar" and "Jarenar Empirium", but the necessicary procedure is not yet second nature to me. Besides, the task seems daunting to me, even though we have so few articles.

We probably have an article too many...

The Races category/article should include both stock races and custom races. There can be subcategories for stock versus non-stock, but they both count as "Races." Further... we have redundant categories: Shipsets, Races, Player Empires. All of these are categories listing pretty much the same thing. Shipsets can be merged into Races, since it is the same thing. Its extra work having to maintain all 3 pages, and creates confusion, in my opinion. Player Empires can probably stay, since it can have empires independent from a particular shipset.

Not sure whether I prefer "Races" or "Shipsets." What do you think?

Shipsets would be best. Some shipsets have a highly detailed background story, but some are merely, well, shipsets, sometimes not carrying any background at all. Sometimes multiple shipsets of the same race exist (Eysk, Imperial Union). I think that, in light of these conditions, Shipsets would be a better term, as that term is also used more often on this forum I believe.

Multiple Wiki articles can have the same header, but you'd have to make sure that they have different URLs (for want of a better term), for instance you can have three entries for "Warp Point", but you'll have to make sure that you keep "Warp_Point_SEIV", "Warp_Point_SEV" and "Warp_Point_Starfury" as separate pages.
