This virus game must have been bankrolled by some doctor who makes his living treating carpal tunnel patients. Ouch. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Yeah, I noticed that the levels become unbeatable unless you either get a time extension or have had a lot of free latency upgrades (more than you could possibly afford)...

Even so, latency dosen't help you get more cells onto the screen. Even if you don't miss any, you can still lose.

Re: Interesting web finds

You need the latency so that your viruses expand immediately and it takes less time to clear the RBCs, especially when the clock in getting close to the end. I always lose with just 2-4 RBCs left to infect, where one more level of latency would have let me get those infections a few seconds earlier. For this situation, reproduction is only helpful to a point, since there can end up being way more viruses on the screen than you can possibly use.

Yeah, but more viruses, with more damage ability, all clumped together and ignored by you, can kill the white blood cells sooner, before they become a problem. If they also survive the antibiotic cloud, and you get the biohazard powerup, you can get more of those invisible rbc's. Those guys with the high score (and all the high scores are by the same few guys) have probably latched onto some pretty good formula. And of course, luck figures into it as well.

Re: Interesting web finds

The biohazard is entirely luck dependent as well, which is what I was getting at.

A fun platoform mini game: http://game.demiononline.nl/robobug.php?domain_id=11

A list of free multiplayer games: http://play-free-online-games.com/games/games_all.html

This is one reason why I visit Nodwick.

I'd imagine the same thing that if you typed it in a search engine. Anything that matches will be shown.
