Is the AI in CB Mod so good because it cheats? or is it solely due to Rollo's scripting talents?

From what I know of SJ in general and of Rollo's AI talent, I'm almost positive the AI wouldn't cheat. It'd just be smarter than usual http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

It dosen't cheat, although it does use some different-but-equal components in order to get around some hard-coded thinking patterns.

It will only cheat if you use the AI bonus setting in game startup. No bonus is totally fair. Low bonus is 2x, Medium 3x and High bonus is 5x to income and build rates.

In stock, High bonus is not unreasonable.

Ooh..... Disposable Society with high bonus..... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/Injured.gif I don't think there's any Preservationists who can beat that one-on-one, unless they use lots of training facilities and extremely heavy defences.....

Maybe make that a challenge - Beat CBM on low bonus.
