Re: See you all in a week.
I lost concentration on a dune and paid for it with two borken ribs and four fractured. A brused back, mild whip lash, and brused intestines. A minor set back in an otherwise awsome week of fantastic riding.

That must be very painful. I hope you get well soon.

Re: See you all in a week.
It only hurts when I lay down and try to sit back up. One of these days I will have to tell you all about my day yestarday. Lets just say that it involved humilation, an ambulance ride, a long hot walk in 100 degree heat, sore muscles, and one royally pissed off, yet oddly pleased PCP.

No one can ever say your life is boring! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif Broken ribs can't be a whole lot of fun I'd imagine. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif

Re: See you all in a week.
The thrill was that I crashed worse than the time that I rolled my scrambler off a dune into a lake. This time out I hit the ground so hard that I knocked myself out. I was waring a back pack with bottled water in it. When I landed I landed on my back... on the bottled water... on an exsisting back injury... and I got up, albeit after a bit, and rode out. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif How many 400 pound men do you know who can say that?

Don't think there's very many.

Well there you go then. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif To bad none of you ride. We could swap war stories.

Re: See you all in a week.
Damn, you're one tough nugget AT, and I can empathize with your discomfort. A couple of years ago I was riding my Katana to work, when some woman "anticipating" the light change pulled out in from of me. I broadsided her car and went sailing, and rolled about 50 times. I hurt in places I didn't know I could hurt. Thank god for my helmet, too...

Re: See you all in a week.
Many you were lucky. Most folks would have ended up in the hospital. I have seen many a good rider taken out by stupid people. I pray each time I drive that I don't make such a stupid mistake and cause others harm.
