Sheesh. The same people who try to read the tea leaves in incremental version numbers see updated news from the devs about how close they are to gold, and all they can do is complain that the web page bearing the news is spartan?

So far we are all being pretty cool but Ive come close to mentioning that I HAVE seen some of my favorite wait-for projects get blown completely away by impatient and rude fans. Ive known developers who completely dropped the project.

Probably not. The only sequel I remember was the dropping of a Shadowdale version 4 mmorpg. And then even the support for version 3.5 was dropped. As far as I know none of the programmers ever returned to the project.

Kalevala was fun to read. I dont know why, but our literature teacher forced us to read Kalevala.
