I just thought it was amusing, relative to the Crysis quote above. I don't really care if SE:V uses the same graphics engine as Minesweeper, as long as it's fun.

Thats good to know. Are fighters always drawn as flat objects in spacecombat, or do they use the 3d models when you zoom in? I seem to recall some screenshots (of groundcombat) with what seems like 3d models in them.

I'm asking because I'm working on a shipset and I've made sure my unit models are very low polygon (around 40 polygons for satellites and mines) I still have to do the fighters, and I'm wondering if I should use the same restrictions for them.
