Some of them don't even look like kittens at all, and the article says their birth defects are so severe that they die shortly after birth, and sadly, perhaps it's better that they don't live long. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

It's not actually that bad, don't get me wrong they shouldn't exist. Read it a bit and it says those with really bad deformities like a misshapen skull do not develop a higher nervous system. They breathe but it's totally involuntary, rememeber we don't have to concentrate on breathing it's just automatic. They are not self aware. They do not clasify enough as intelligent to even know they exist. So they're not suffering, they are incapable of feeling anything.
