Its a hard question since I don't have the game yet. I guess I will focus on Ermor as always, but I will also want to play with more nations in Dominions 3, because in Dominions 2 I was playing Ermor in 10/8 MP games at average. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif I will definitely try out all of the new nations. Agartha looks like very interesting to me. I will try them first after I've installed the game. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

And yet, despite not having the game, you still get your opinion in. How ... unexpected.

Yeah I know that it's weird. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif
..but I really was playing with Ermor almost all the time, and I never "dropped them", because I like the way as they can be played. They are a very special nation in Doms 2, compared to the others. I also liked Abysia and Ulm.
Ah well, my copy is here in a few days, so I will take a look at all nations, maybe its time for me to play more universal, and not just with a few nations mainly. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Interesting thing to point out now. In the AI games Ive played with all of the nations, Ermor took an early lead but Oceania usually surged ahead later.

I am playing with the demo, and an AI player has moved 680 units to my border province already . The whole province is filled with unit sprites there. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/biggrin.gif I am really impressed about the AI so far.

I really like the Aboleths of early R'yleh. They are my favorite so far, especially the freespawn from the immobile priests. Only drawback is when you have to invade the land. Since it's early era you can't really depend on heavy infantry from indies (I got a province with "heavy infantry" but they were rather disappointing).

I tried Yomi my first game and got *killed*. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/fear.gif The game is quite a bit harder this time around.

Hey, you're relatively local. Nice to see a fellow Georgian. ;-)

Still haven't tried the Aboleths, although I love the concept, being the D&D goob that I am. I've been too hung up on the Late Era end of R'lyeh.

I rather liked Yomi. What do you feel ended up smoking you when you played them?

I haven't tried all new nations yet, but the Bakemono are a really nice new nation, samurai orcs, goblin militia and human renegades - very nice.
