Actually, I think that the USPS does a great job. Truly. I cannot remember the last time anything I sent was lost, or when I didn't receive something that was mailed.

I think that there are a lot of whiners here.

Sorry, just my opinion.

Now, here is a serious question for US members. Who would complain if home mail was delivered every other day instead of every day. I figure that woudl save roughly half on postal costs, and I wouldn't complain at all.

Paplan: I don’t appreciate you addressing the members who have posted as whiners. Even if that is your opinion we are simply expressing our opinion and certainly not subject to insult for doing so. I would greatly appreciate it if in the future when joining a conversation you consider how your thoughts could be read. This is a prime example, I took your comment as insulting and spoo took mine the same way.

My suburb has a matching counterpart in Sydney, which for those that don't know is 2 states (and maybe a territory) and an ocean strait away, and we have still gotten the odd letter adressed to there.
