Re: another noob question...
Well, let's take your word, but please give more precise questions...
First it's not even remotely possible to lose "in a couple of turns", it takes at least 10 turns to have an enemy army storm your capitol. Then read the demo tutorial if you've lost the manual, go to the wiki page, look at the links to have other Dom3 or Dom2 advice (90% of it still applies, except nation specifics), and try again http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif |

Re: another noob question...
I had this same trouble with dominions 2, then i discovered Province defence and everything was swell.
Make sure you are using PD. Make sure you build forts in stratigic locations with high resources. MAke sure you have mages and preists escort your armies. |

Re: another noob question...
Losing stuff is easy. I don't have my manual at the moment, forgot to take it back with me the last time I visited my mother. I just hope I'll find it the next time I'm there.
Someone might ask if it was entirely necessary to carry it with me on that trip though... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/shock.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smirk.gif |

Re: another noob question...
It seems like you can't build forts in every region/province on the map. Do you have to build or research something before you can do that?

Re: another noob question...
you can build a fort anywhere other than underwater(and even there if your a water nation) unless you lack gold afaik.
