Re: Does damage from a F9 bless stack with D9 ?
Afflictions are caused by damage, so 0 damage will not cause random afflictions, even with 350% chance of afflictions. The more damage a single attack does the higher the chance of causing an affliction. This is also affected by the max hitpoints of the creature being damaged, the more HP the lower the chance of afflictions.
I'm pretty sure some attacks, like Koppo, will cause their affliction on hit even if there is no damage. |
Re: Does damage from a F9 bless stack with D9 ?
Hmm, Smoking Mirror or Lich with F9/D9/B4 would be an option, too...
Dom9, but very bad scales (likely drain-2 if I want any luck/growth at all). Since the map is Aran with 2 players and 3 AIs the game can take quite a while I think, due to this the scales for 2x9 and 2x4 blesses might be a bit high, too http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Would most likely take the Lich there due to being immortal, or does the Mirror have an advantage that is hidden in the text ? Thank you for the input. CharonJr |

On a side note, I believe the affliction bless stacks with sacred mages too. So you can cast something like wrathful skies to REALLY do some evil =).

Re: Does damage from a F9 bless stack with D9 ?
or how about that one battlefield spell that takes 1 hp from everybody and gives it to the caster?

Re: Does damage from a F9 bless stack with D9 ?
1 damage would rarely cause an affliction even with a death bless though.
Is it confirmed that the bless works on spells? Spells that effect the whole battlefield? If so, that's cool. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif |

Earthquake perhaps?

Re: Does damage from a F9 bless stack with D9 ?
BTW, did a test-game earlier, without the quickness form W9 the E9/N9 Niefel Giants are way too strong (my units get frozen before they can take the giants out). With quickness they manage to kill a good number before they are frozen.
So I will follow the Doctor's advice... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif But boy, are those bad scales... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif CharonJr |
