--statfile
gives a nice short text file that gives you an easy way to see who turned in, who went ai, and who staled. You can also toss it into the webdir with scores

I turned this on in my other game and stats.txt always looks like this:

Weird. I originally started that server from within the gui, then switched to command line. I'm guessing that's why it's broken.

So I wrote the attached extremely ugly bash script to put status info into the web page, and just cronned it up.

a timeout on turns will save you some hassles later if no one has complaints about it. The -q (quickhost) is usually what really happens for quite awhile into the game anyway.

Will this work if I turn it on later?

Hmmm, K had claimed Sauromatia, but hadn't uploaded yet.
I guess Tequilich took the 6th spot.

Tequilich, the post was marked as Full, sorry. If K decides not to join then you can have his spot.

thejeff, you don't mind doing your first turn over do you?

We can wait for K to reply. If he's still interested, I will delete the game and restart it.

Not a problem. It's a first turn.
Move the scout, prophetize and recruit. 5 minutes, tops.

I've deleted the game, and restarted the server. I added one more slot for Tequilich, I hope no-one objects. The players are:

tromper - Ermor
thejeff - Vanheim
Eressil3 - Lanka
Thrawn - Arco
vfb - Marverni
K - Sauromatia
Tequilich - Mictlan

Would all the above players please reconnect to the server and join the game, thanks.
