Yup, those nasty bacteria and viruses can do just fine hanging out in the rotten decomposing flesh of the already-dead.

Aging certainly does cause problems for LA Ermor. Try casting the Burden of Time spell. If it lasts long enough, your leaders start to lose important abilities. The only consolation is that by that time the opposition may be completely helpless...but don't count on it.

Well it is very rare, undead who are diseased still get afflictions.

It is rare and takes along time but they will occassionally pick up an affliction.
