The major Death Bless affects missile weapons also? woa. Is it a straight 2 points AN Damage, or is that 2 + DRN? Same for the major fire bless, is it 6 AP + DRN or just a plain 6 AP?

As far as I know, the major Death bless does NOT affect missile weapons either. (I believe it says something to that effect in the "Death Weapons" description). Which sadly means that for EA Bander Log (Kailasa?), the D9 isn't that good with their sacred archers(The Affliction Boost DOES work with the archers, but as it doesn't help them do damage, the effect won't be significant).

You're right there, major Death bless is melee-only. Sorry about that.

I rather like various combinations of Water/Death blessing as EA Kailasa, and also as LA Tien Chi (who has sacred cavalry archers with magic bows!). Death won't be as monstrous in melee as Fire, but it can be used to great effect. I've even had a Fire/Death/Nature bless for EA Agartha.

I remember I used a blessed commandert with bow of war and had a lot of injuries.

are you sure the Death bless +2AN affect only mélée ?

The +2 AN damage only affects melee, but the affliction change also works for missiles. So you won't deal any extra damage, but you'll notice there're a lot more injuries.
