Re: The Chalice

I recall being attacked by the Knights in Dom 2, but I have not seen them in Dom 3 either. I think they must have been replaced.

Not intentionally, but it sounds as if they don't work properly.

Reviving this thread.

Has anyone been attacked by knights while holding the Chalice in Dom3?

Re: The Chalice

I've played many more games since this thread went to sleep in 8/27/07 and still have never seen any knights from any eras(including_late_era) attack the chalice owner.

If it does exist the event must be Extremely Rare and for only a specific terrain province(farm?) with correct scales.

No attacks, ever.

I think I have been attacked in a MP game a while back, the knights killed my mage too, if I recall.

Re: The Chalice

If it was knights then it was not the event we are talking about.
The Chalice used to attract single knights in Dominions II. Not much of
a challenge for those my Pretender choses to protect the Chalice. :-)

Re: The Chalice

Oh really? in that case no I've never seen the lone knight. Must have been a bad event then.

Re: The Chalice

I think it is knights during battles. So you dont really notice them because it just looks like your opponent build a couple indie knights.

I recall reading the chalice/knight event generates a message followed by a single knight attack on the commander as done via assassination battles.
