I am wondering if the "unit" blood slave will be just like "slave" blood slave in battlefield. Can you cast blood spells off them?

Nope. Its just a sucky mindless unit, as per what is usually in battle.

I cast GoR on one once and empowered it in blood magic to see if it had a dousing bonus or something (it didn't), but that was just for kicks.
