I agree about handdrawn maps.
I don't think we should do slow research - it leaves research-dependent nations too vulnerable. |

Since research output grows steadily as the game goes on, hard research doesn't do much to constrain the wildness of the late game. It just delays it a bit.
In the early game, though, slow research is a major drawback, especially for a nation with strong mages fighting a bless rusher like I'm doing in Evermore http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif. |
