It's the EA Knights that are aquatic. Trident Knights are amphibious. Capital-only is not great for sacreds, but W9S9 on your pretender is not useless in the end game.

The MA Trident Knight's single attack is a little weak, but at least they recuperate to remove afflictions; at 22 HP you should be able to keep them alive and into elite experience levels.

Unless I feel I really need more(Mictlans sacreds, LA Ermor/R'lyeh, maybe MA Ctis ect) I take just what I think I will need. With Bishop fish, you have very cheap and powerful preachers, who can definitely prevent a dominion kill, and with a dwarven hammer and 3(iirc) gems you can send them up on land too.

They are very useful, because your troops tend to be fairly few in number, and often have low/average morale, so sermon of courage is good.

Even with a Dwarven Hammer, you need 3 Water and 3 Air gems for the Amulet of the Fish. While the Air magic required is not all that difficult, the Air gems might be a bit hard for them to come by. Of course, if you're clamming, transmutation is always an option.
