This is a very impressive project and has a lot of potential value. How about doing a PDF of it via Open Office or similar document and having links in the TOC? Or just a webpage with a link from the forum?

This looks like it will be the definitive reference for a lot of indepth stuff. Combined with the Strategy Index, the Dom3 DB, the FAQ and the UORMM, it won't leave many stones unturned, but has the benefit of not being much use unless you are already familiar with the mechanics.

Wow, tiger, hold it. Why convert it to PDF or some similar big binary blob format which might even require installing some big program (OO) when everybody's already got a browser? If this is in HTML that's cool, and it could be easily converted into e.g. the CHM format to allow a simple file download, too.

Yeah, I'm sure we could easily convert this into HTML and upload it somewhere. Certainly I could host it if that proved to be a good option.

I can host it on the crappy server. And then move it to the good server when its fixed.

Hey, nothing to prevent doing it both ways, though the HTML page system is lighter and more convenient probably. I just like having the option of having stuff available in offline form.

The recommended viewer for this is GVIM (preferably with UTL script). With UTL the document feels like a wiki since it contains internal links.

Its quite easy to change to any other format like latex (for generating PDF) or HTML via some script. I can do both if there's demand (though my past experience suggests conversion to latex is much more complex).

Well, I'm not a fund to use more many specific tools (GVIM & co.) so is it an alternative way of reading your KB conveniently? I precise: WITHOUT converting YOUR work. You've allready done a fantastic job, so I won't ask you to convert in some other format, but just if you know the possibility to read it as it is in other way.

But having it in another format will be great (I join Edi on this point). If I knew how to convert such file, I'll do, but I'm just an expert on M$ Office stuffs (I work a lot on it in my job).

I tried using GVim, but it's confusing. I can't get the links to work, but I'm not sure if I got the plugin working correctly. It'd be simpler to use if it was in some format I knew how to use, but it's worth using even as it is. Thanks for compiling this.
