The morale one you just cast at the start and I agree the healing one is basically useless. The fatigue one is the real star.

Don't forget your impressive assassins, the Baobhan Sidhe. Equip them with a Bag of Winds and script Thunderstrike and you will take out everything short of a SC. Also they have incredible stealth (45 IIRC), so are unlikely to be discovered. Find his capital and start picking off researchers.

Maybe so, but Fomoria has no Astral. Not sure how vulnerable their FKs or even their Druids (who all have air one for Resist Lightning) would be to that tactic though.

If mind hunt is your concern then have an indy shamen make an atimagic amulet for each one of them. A small additional vestment for a unit with a bag of wind. Rainbow armor is also a nice pick.
