They're not random, they're rebels from Hell's heirarchy who have burrowed their way to the surface, after they lost the War in Hell.

Great ideas! Disregard everyone else's (negative) opinions and incorporate all your ideas into the final mod! It's fine just as it is!

... except, you know, the Grotesque. Because there already is one in game, as a cross-breeding result. Unless you meant that all the time, in which case, disregard MY opinion as well. :p ;)

P.S. Don't you hate it when people don't like your view of your mod?

Re: Dis-Hell's Crucible.

hehehe-thanks Endoperez!

I actually don't mind so much, just because the mods I end up with are usually WAYYY different from what I originally envisioned for them. I can say similar things about some of the Vanilla Nations too, from what I might have done with them, but they're all fun to play and just go in different directions.

I don't really go for historical accuracy, and I'm not trying to portray a mod that comes from my own family or National roots, so there's not that much investment, other than my own creativity, and as long as other people are being creative, then I don't mind their suggestions. I'm not going to take them, though, unless I think their ideas are better than mine, or expand upon them in ways I hadn't thought of.

And I guess I'll just go with "obsidian effigy", if 'Grotesque' is already taken.

I'm not aware of any issues with that.

There was some problem like the AI won't cast the copy,.. I think?

Maybe that was only indies. Also you wouldn't want to copy anything that's tied to an existing vanilla item or onebattlespell.

Thanks Llamabeast, Sombre. Hopefully you two can guide me if I run into trouble producing the effect-compared to some that I'm hoping to achievem, I hope that modded onebattlespells will be relatively straughtforward.

Bump: Did a little cleanup, and added way too many spells to the already bloated list.

"Le Grande Abbatoir" => correct spelling in french should be "Le Grand Abattoir" ("grande" is the feminine form and "abattoir" only take one "b")

About the imp and succubus recruits, do you plan to copy the base units and add a gold cost to the copy, or will you use the original units ?

Re: Dis-Hell's Crucible.

Thanks Jack_Trowell. Sadly, my French is practically non-existent.

I'll just copy-paste them and add a gold cost. Saves on time and effort, and, more importantly, confusion.

To be more accurate, it would be "Le grand abattoir", or better yet (IMHO) "L'Abattoir". You could perhaps justify using "Le grand Abattoir" as stylistic effect, but that would be strange.

French uses far less capital letters than english :).

To explain the difference in usage :
- a really big and famous slaughterhouse could be designated by "Le grand abattoir" (or even just "L'abattoir")
- a legendary slaughterhouse could be designated by "L'Abattoir".

That's why I'm not against using "Le Grand Abattoir" for a really big, famous *and* legendary slaughterhouse

But it's true that the simple "L'Abattoir" implies strongly that it is *the one* and that everybody should know about it, no question needed. :angel
