So, will I need to do the Racial traits thing for every race?

Sorry I couldn't recreate your problem.

The racial traits thing is only 6 characters per AI, if they fail to take the normal trait.

I could have made my AI Patcher do that automatically, but I lost the source code, and I don't have time to rebuild it right now. Possibly next week, as well.
