Yeah, so 8 damage has some pretty good chance of killing a 10hp commander once the DRN roll is included. I can't be bother to lift my arm up to look at my manual, but I bet it's 40% or so.

All damage in Dom3 (pretty much) inludes a DRN. That's why the 2AN damage on Death Weapons isn't completely irrelevant.

Is that 2AN damage a separate roll? I've always thought it is just added to the normal damage. If it is indeed a separate roll, Death Weapons aer quite a it more powerful than I have thought!

EDIT: It adds a second affliction to the target, in case I forgot (like I did) to mention above *why* I think Death Weapons suddenly look much more powerful to me :)

afaik d9 weapons are bugged as they replace normal damage from weapons, at least I've heard rumours like that.

No, I believe (but only from reading the forums) that F9 and D9 secondary effects (flame and Death Weapons) overwrite other secondary effects. So, they're not good if you're using a Fire Brand or other weapon with a critical secondary effect. With normal weapons they're great.
